Your pain shouldn’t run your day.
ComfortLase™ Photobiomodulation and Pain Management in Vancouver
ComfortLase™ uses Fotona laser light to ease chronic muscle pain, joint pain and tendon pain. No needles, no medication, no downtime. Book at Vancouver Medi Spa, 1086 Hornby Street, established in 2014.
Laser light helps your body calm pain and repair tissue.
Photobiomodulation (PBM) uses low-level, visible-red to near-infrared light. According to Fotona, the light stimulates your cells to heal, relieve pain and reduce inflammation. It also speeds up tissue repair, boosts cell metabolism and increases lymphatic flow and micro-circulation. Nothing is cut and nothing goes under the skin.
Back pain scores dropped by half in 4 weeks.
In a 2017 trial, 20 people with chronic back pain had physio. Half also had high-intensity laser therapy, 3 sessions a week for 4 weeks. The laser group’s pain and disability scores fell much further.
Pain score
0 to 10 pain scale. Lower is better.
Disability score
